    Leo's Return to Work

Leo’s return to work is going really well, he’s trying very hard and is looking better than ever. We have followed the ‘back into work' plan laid down by Newmarket carefully, and as such he has been slowly building up his trot work.

So my 14th birthday was made extra special as on the day I heard that the GB Pony Squad selectors had selected Albi and I to compete at the CDI Deipenbeek in Belgium in early July!

Exciting Times at Keysoe Premier League

So I have really exciting news Albi and I had a great Keysoe Premier League. We went along determined to do our best, but still very much learning together so in all honesty to have the honour of winning the Pony FEI Class was so unexpected it was amazing!

    Positive Vibes

We've had a really positive couple of weeks. I'm really pleased to report that Leo has now started walking out, however in the meantime 8-year-old Albi (also known as Dumbledore D) has come to stay and train with me so that I can help him continue his Pony FEI education.

    Trying Times

Sorry to have not updated you for a while but it's been a pretty challenging few weeks as the Leo pony rollercoaster continues! A few days after Myerscough Leo's swelling on his hock returned. He appeared happy and sound but with a swelling we couldn't explain.

Great Result at Pony FEI Team Test

Sadly Leo and I never made it to the Regionals due to his injury, however we did manage to get to Myerscough Premier League last weekend where we were there competing in the Pony FEI Team test.

    Tough Few Weeks

I'm sad to say it's been a very very tough few weeks...On the Friday of Addington High Profile Show, Leo was given a couple of hours in the field before we travelled. Sadly he spent those few hours playing a little too harshly.

A Great Start to the New Year

Leo and I have enjoyed a lovely Christmas, but we had only a limited break as we have been busy throughout December preparing for the FEI test review weekend for the GB Pony Squad riders.

    Change of Discipline

As Leo has been working and trying so hard with his training I thought it was important to give him a break and have a little bit of fun.
