Catriona-Alfa-Beet is not just for horses!

Catriona is a 20 year-old feral x cashmere goat owned by Mary. Catriona was struggling a bit this winter with the snowy weather so Mary decided to try her on Dengie Alfa-Beet which she also uses for her Eriskay pony when doing long distance rides. Catriona loved Alfa-Beet and found it really easy to eat so Mary decided to send us a picture to brighten our day and to show us how well Catriona was doing.

Mary also has a cunning way to help keep her yard tidier as well. Mary uses Dengie Hi-Fi Lite as a forage replacement for her 34 year old toothless veteran as she can no longer manage to chew hay. Mary then uses the empty sack to transport her hay from between the store and yard to reduce wastage and mess!
