Autumn 2008
Hello and welcome to the autumn edition of Dengie Club Quarterly.
What a summer it has been! For those of us not lucky enough to be able to take a trip to the Olympics we were all glued to the television, internet or radio to listen to the progress as it happened. The closing ceremony, with the hand over to Boris Johnson and the arrival of the iconic London Bus, had us firmly looking ahead to 2012 and the excitement of having the proceedings happening closer to home.
Back at home the weather this summer has been a real mixed bag and although we have had some sunny spells we have also had plenty of cloud and rain. Now that October is here there is a definite 'autumnal' feel in the air and although personally autumn is my favourite season it does have one major downside; the evenings get darker and eventually winter arrives!
Now's the time to think ahead and be prepared for all that winter has to bring and this month I give our top tips for 'Preparing for Winter Stabling 24/7' and Senior Nutritionist Katie Williams M.Sc. (Dist) R Nutr discusses the use of 'Oil for Safe Conditioning'. To help keep your horse looking their best this winter we are offering £5 off our Natural Vitality Joint & Condition supplement. Natural Vitality Joint & Condition can be added to the existing ration of any horse or pony and provides excellent levels of the essential fatty acids omega-3, 6 & 9 to help your horse’s skin and coat condition as well as supporting their joints.
Looking ahead the Dengie Team will also be heading out on the road to Your Horse Live from the 7-9th November and will be available to answer all of your questions. Those of you who attended last year can't have missed our biggest ever stand and this years looks set to be even better. This quarter we are giving 5 lucky Dengie Club members the chance to win a pair of tickets to Your Horse Live and so look forward to meeting you all there!
