Hello and welcome to the first edition of Dengie Club Quarterly, a quarterly newsletter for Dengie Club members - the clue was in the title!

In this edition we Watch Out 4 Laminitis and look at the four Laminitis Trust-approved Dengie products in providing spring/summer diet planning guidelines. Look out for our offer for Club Members at the end of the newsletter.

Dengie has funded another research project - - the results of this study into the effects of dentition on the welfare of the veteran horse make interesting reading for those of us with horses that are a bit longer in the tooth.

Everything Explained. Each quarter, we will introduce a feed and nutrition topic and attempt to demystify it for you – this time it’s Essential Fatty Acids – we all need them, even horses - - but why?

We introduce you to our head of nutrition Katie Williams who is responsible for overseeing product development and whose team answers your questions on our award-winning Feedline.

Our aim is to provide you with insights that you might not get elsewhere – a fun forum for an exchange of interests, ideas and information. We want you to get involved so we’re inviting you to tell us your stories for the On Your Yard section. We’d love to receive your feedback to the Club and the newsletter so please email me with issues that interest you and we will try to cover them in the Quarterly.
