Forage Analysis

Dengie Offer two types of forage analysis as follows: -

Basic - £15

Using this service provides overall information on how 'well' your horses will do on the forage and includes Dry Matter, Crude Protein, Oil, Ash, ME, Sugar and NDF.

Comprehensive - £25

When using this service the results will include analysis as per the basic package in addition to mineral levels. Minerals analysed include calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, chloride, potassium, sulpher, copper, iron, manganese, cobalt, zinc and selenium. In addition to this CAB levels will be identified.

If you would like to have your hay or haylage analysed please send half a carrier bag full of forage, together with a covering letter and a cheque made payable to Dengie Crops Ltd to the following address: -

Analysis usually takes 1 week for a basic analysis and up to 1 month for a comprehensive analysis.
