The yard is fairly quiet but happy at the moment with the hectic summer season out of the way and time to consolidate on the things learnt. All the "boys and girls" are feeling very well and doing well at their various levels of training. Noblesse is back in work after a short spell out recovering from a virus. His piaffe is coming on and his one time changes just keep getting better - we are up to 15 now and looking on target for an Intermediare II hopefully before Christmas if I can find one that is not too far away!
Rubin and Divine, the young horses are fabulous! Both have grown and matured and I am very excited about them. Jimmy "the pony" is off to Ireland to a new home. I will be sad to see him go - I ride him first each morning and he always sets me up with a smile for the day! I am sure he will do well, and we will see him doing FEI for Ireland next year!
Quichi, my new youngster is in the field until after Christmas to let him chill out and grow. I am very excited about getting him into work, I think he is going to be a pleasure to work with. Wolida, the other mother to be (!) is developing into a real softie (we only brought her in September). She is due to foal in July and we have had to tweak her diet, as she was lacking a bit of condition. We are trying Dengie's Fibremix Complement and Alfa-A Oil to help her through the winter months.
All the best, Hannah.
