A hectic time for Tanya

It's been rather hectic here at the yard recently. I'm currently on my way back from Barbury International 3star with Bud...we had an interesting week and to finish it all off I lost a shoe on the XC and had to pull him up as he was slipping badly on the hard ground! Its a long drive home but at least we didn't end up in the ditch like at Bramham!

Jack is having time off at the moment as he keeps stopping after jumping drop fences and came back from Hutton jarred up so he is obviously not loving the hard ground! (I'm probably the only person in the country who is wanting rain!!)

Bob is doing his first event of the year next week so fingers crossed he will behave himself! He's been going well with his dressage outings so hopefully he's turned a corner!

Super sonic has been out and about at local show-jumping competitions and has been jumping double clears! He's not got the hang of the jump off yet, the last time out he was 20 seconds behind everyone!!

I have also taken the ride of 6 new horses for David Williamson which is rather exciting. They range from a 5 year old at Intro level to Woody a 7 year old who I did his first Intermediate on last week at Aske!

Scally eventually had her foal 2 weeks late! He's a little chestnut colt called Basil!!

The next big event will be a Blair now as Hutton 2star has been cancelled, I'm looking forward to seeing the Dengie Stand there!!
