Because Your Horse is Sweet Enough Competition winner
31st January 2011
CONGRATULATIONS to Steph Davis who has won our 'Because Your Horse Is Sweet Enough' competition!! Her photo 'kisses' got a staggering 201 votes through Facebook and our website so CONGRATULATIONS Steph!!

The winning entry shows miniature pony Sasha giving Bayley a big kiss and Steph explains the pair were firm friends: “Bayley absolutely doted on Sasha and when she was in her little paddock he stood over her all the time and wouldn't let any of the other horses near her. He often had little grooming sessions with her too and she also found she could shelter under him in the rain.”
Steph has fed her horses Dengie for years and is thrilled with her prize, however she has decided very generously to give the feed to charity: “I have decided to donate the feed supply I have won to Equine Market Watch (EMW), a Herefordshire based sanctuary, as I feel the horses there would benefit from the feed more than my horses.”
Katie Williams, Head of Nutrition says: “Steph is a very deserving winner as not only did she take a cute picture, but she also has a very big heart and we are so pleased she has taken this very generous step to donate her prize to a worthy cause.”
Steph is now looking forward to her professional photoshoot, which is due to take place soon.
