Busy Week at Manor Barn Stables - 12th Jan 2007

It has been a busy week at Manor Barn Stables!  I have been show-jumping twice at Addington with Rebel, Fritz and Ella as well as clipping the hairy monsters which came in from the field.

Up with the Lark and Kangasong are now looking very trim and have started walking to build up their fitness.  Jagganath is coming back from Carole Mortimers' at the end of January and I am looking forward to seeing him again after his break.

Our new stables went up on Thursday so at last we have some more room - although we still have some concreting to do.  My wife's (Ellie) youngster Skippy (Kangasongs' brother) has been moved to a yard up the road to make way for others to come in....I don't think she is very impressed!

This weekend we are going to the British Breeding Ball in London as Billy Bird has been nominated for an ex-race horse award.  So we get to go to the big smoke and stay in a posh hotel, which should be great fun!

I have some great horses - alot of them very promising youngsters to ride this season so I am really looking forward to it.  Have a read of my "profile" to find out more about them!
