We went to Willerby yesterday, and really earned our qualifications. It was an early start to the day to ensure all plaiting etc was done in time only to set off and break down 10 minutes from home...one hour later the recovery got us going (we did make it pleasant by going across the road for breakfast at McDonalds). Unfortunately we arrived late and missed one class, but Welkom performed well and won with 69% and qualified. Rubin followed by winning his music with 75.5% in the Advanced Medium. All packed up and ready to go home we then found we could not restart the engine - Ian from the Willerby venue was so kind and tried to help us, 2 hours later and a blown up battery he towed us for a bump start and we got home eventually around 10pm...thank goodness the boys performed well it made the 'hard cold bit' not so miserable...
