Dengie Funded Study Accepted for BSAS Conference

We are very pleased that research into the suitability of various types of forage for veteran horses with compromised dentition funded by Dengie and undertaken by Writtle College student Tracey Mann, has been accepted as one of the topics in the Equine Nutrition Session of the BSAS Conference to be held between 31st March and 2nd April 2008.
The British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) has the aim of enhancing the understanding of animal sciences and promoting its integration into both economical and ethical use. Katie Williams, Head of Nutrition at Dengie says; "we are pleased that this piece of work undertaken with Writtle College has been accepted for a conference at this level. Presentation of research at this conference is an endorsement of the procedures, protocols and findings of the research undertaken by Tracey Mann". The paper will be presented at BSAS by Catherine Hale, Senior Lecturer in Equine Science at Writtle College.
