Dengie Supports Equestrian Writing Competition

Student Pippa Ireland has launched an exciting equestrian writing competition as part of an investigative project for her HNC Equine Management course at Bishop Burton College.
The short story competition is open to all with some great prizes up for grabs. There are also special sections for Yorkshire residents and Pony Club Members. The competition is being judged by two authors who live locally to Bishop Burton College. One of the judges, author Penny Grubb, is also a local show judge and her latest book 'Like False Money' will be a prize in the competition's special Yorkshire Section.
The theme for the short story competition is Equine/Countryside and the theme may be interpreted widely. The short story can be a maximum of 2000 words and must be submitted by 30th April 2010. For further information about this exciting competition please click here.
