Essex Police Mounted Unit Weigh In!

29th June 2011

Dengie Performance Horse Nutritionist, Claire Akers visited Essex Police Mounted Unit to review the horse’s diets and to check their current condition and weights. All the horses are fed on Dengie’s Healthy Hooves and Alfa-Beet; all are looking a picture of health with shiny coats. Most of the horses at the unit are cold blooded draught horses and hold their weight well so during the summer months their feed ration is reduced. To ensure that the horses are getting a fully balanced diet, our high spec vitamin and mineral supplement; Natural Vitality Performance Vits & Mins has been added to ensure they remain in peak condition.

Trojan is the biggest horse at the unit; he stands at 17.3hh high and weighs in at a whopping 770kg!
