July News!

Hi Everyone!

The young horses have been going great this month!  At Weston Laws I qualified both Cotswold Classic and Dollytraum for the 5 year old final.  I then won the final on Cotswold Classic, a horse we bred ourselves and have since sold to a girl who trains with me.  I was also 4th on Dollytraum, a horse I brought from Belgium and recently sold to another lady who trains with me.  It was a three-round competition and both horses jumped three immaculate rounds and were foot perfect in the jump off against the clock.

It has otherwise been a difficult month without my best horse, Oksana W being in top form.  I did jump her at Hechington show where she did a good double clear and came 4th in the Area Trial over a 1.45m track, but she did not feel at her best.  I am having some investigations done to establish what might be wrong.

Whisper Magic has been going really well, and has been achieving some very good placements at the county shows.  I hope she will be successful in some of the bigger classes towards the end of the season.
