Medi-bed at the Tendring Show

12/08/09

The Tendring Show took place recently in Essex. This is Essex County’s Premier Agricultural Event and is a local show to Dengie.

Paul Hopkins, the Area District Advisor for the British Rabbit Council attended the show and got in touch with Dengie to sponsor by supplying a couple of bales of Dengie Medi-bed.
Medi-bed is dust extracted, medicated chopped straw bedding and can be used for a variety of animals. Animals are discouraged from eating Medi-Bed, because it is treated with a non-toxic, bitter tasting additive.
Paul took some along to the show and talked to people about the bedding, he said that it was a good chance for people to see the product as many had always wanted to try it but had been reluctant to buy a big bag. After trying it, people said that they would definitely buy some after giving it to their rabbits at the show.

Paul is also the chairman of the Central Suffolk Rabbit and Cavy society. (Cavies being Guinea Pigs)

The website for the Tendring Show is http://tendringshow.co.uk/ it takes place on July 10th in 2010.
