Moving In

Whisper was brought last year at the Brightwell Auction..as you know she pulled a ligament and was off for most of the year with box rest and then slow build up to work. The diet that Dengie adviced for her, Fibremix Easy and Hi-FI Lite has worked well. We started off thinking it would be nice if she could return to the auction challenge. She was back in proper work 5 weeks prior to the challenge, so she was booked to compete. Her owners were hoping she would make it through to the top fifteen and the music...well she moved the goal posts and was superb, achieving 2nd place in the first round and finishing 3rd place after the music. I was so pleased with her, she coped with the electric atmosphere so well, especially as this was her first 'party'. Her owner will be aiming to compete her at the Juniors..she will be one to watch!

THE BIG MOVE...a client of mine bought at the auction and Welkom came back with us to stay for her training. This meant when  we got home we had to move into our lovely new barn a little earlier than we were ready for (waterers are still not in). From demolition to laying the concrete and returning temporary stables has taken six weeks, Dad has achieved a little miracle. The staff are also delighted to not doing the run to the temporary stables now the weather is so bad.
