News from Frys Regionals

We went to Frys on the Monday…set up camp and settled in. On the Tuesday morning I did a warm up class with Belluga, a medium test which he won with a few mistakes. The Elementary Championship was in a different arena and he did a really good test. We scored 67.9% coming third and qualifying…so pleased because there are so many more marks to be had from him.

Laura with Whispers, who is permantly here on my yard, won her warm up test and went on to win the Novice ~Restricted…her parents opened quite a few bottles of champagne and we had a lovely time while cooking supper on the ramp with the throw away bbq…

The next day brought very high winds and Belluga caught me by surprise…he has never let me down in the ring but the wind across the international arena was blowing everything that could move and just kept frightening him. He did some lovely work in between, well he scored 61% and spooked everywhere so I was really pleased with his score, but miffed as he could so have done well…at least we are off to the Nationals!!
