Hannah Esberger-Shepherd

October Update

" Noblesse is on a break at the moment as he has had a virus and although fighting it he needs rest, I think he was fighting it at the Nationals as I thought he was a little down.

Divine..she had a chance to go training as Nobbie was resting and we were so very pleased. She is finally getting strong enough to cope with her huge paces, and the training went fab.

Rubin continues to get even better...Quichi is now turned away to get over his castration, he seems to be such a cool headed chap. He will come in after the Christmas break, so looking forward to that. Jimmy the pony was for sale, but he might end up staying with me but with a new rider which I hope so, he is the first I ride in the morning, to put a smile on the day.

George, the schoolmaster, has been sold to a lovely lady, and my friend Gary is her trainer so I will be kept in touch, but he could not have gone to a nicer lady.. We will all miss him, he has been with me since he was 5, now 14, but his owners may not be coming back to England so he had to be sold.

Frisco came the day George left...he is a 3 yr old gentle giant. The owner is putting him in the November Auction at Brightwells, as she is concentrating on building a breeding yard, she has started her foundation with two fab mares, each now in foal, but if Frisco had been smaller I think she would have found it too difficult to sell. My job now is to put in the basics for his future and new owners.

Wolida the mare in foal has settle very well, she is so very loving. We had her scanned after the auction to check the stress did not make her lose her foal...and there it was...

Dads finger has healed and looks very good..Mums getting on top of the biggest soot fall that happened when the lightening struck the tree...well it was the biggest I have ever seen...the lorry with its new engine is so different, it is so smooth and just cruises...well you need some impact for that kind of repair fee dont you...

I have had my scans and all is well, it seems very surreal, bump and I are riding well and intend to beat Anky to the finish line... "

regards Hannah
