Off to the Nationals!!

After a long few months of training and practicing we finally headed off for the Elementary restricted Regional's at Patchetts. It was a large class with some very stiff competition, and we were last on so attracted a lot of spectators, the pressure was immense!!!

In the warm up Sukey was feeling better than she feels at home - really light, forward and each time there was a round of applause she engaged even more. I was finally called in and you could hear a pin drop. We partnered the test of our lives, it was the best we could ever have done, with perfectly balanced simple changes and real lift in the medium trots.

When the score of 70.1% came up on the boards I really really couldn't believe it, we are off to the Nationals in April!!!
