Proof! Improved Hoof Growth with Dengie's Natural Vitality Coat & Hoof Supplement - Special On-Line Price to Celebrate!

10th June 2008

A recent study has shown that supplementing your horse or pony's diet with Natural Vitality Coat & Hoof can increase hoof horn growth rates by 0.1mm per day compared to those not receiving the supplement - that means that over the usual 6-8 week period between shoeings an extra 0.5cm of hoof horn will be produced and that is great news for horses and ponies with poor quality hooves.

The study took two groups of horses, one of which was given the Dengie Natural Vitality Coat & Hoof supplement and the other a placebo supplement.  The hoof growth rates were then recorded.  The supplemented group recorded mean growth rates of 0.245mm per day compared to 0.145mm per day in the non-supplemented group.

This equates to a significant difference in the growth rates between the two groups and proves that feeding Natural Vitality Coat & Hoof to your horse or pony will improve the quantity of horn growth.  Although improved quality of horn takes between 6 - 9 months to grow down, benefits can be seen sooner as old nail holes and cracks are grown out quicker.  This will provide better quality horn for your farrier to nail in to and so shoes should stay on for longer and the risk of infection is reduced.

For a limited period we are offering a special Trial Price on Dengie Natural Vitality Coat & Hoof from our on-line shop.  Until the 30th June we have taken £5 off the RRP on this product.  To take advantage of this offer and to ensure top quality hooves for your horse or pony click here.
