Results from the Willowby Regionals

Loverly news for one of my riders, Lauren Rathbone, who went for the Para Talent Spotting. Unfortunately her own young horse was not yet ready for the level that the test required so another client who had brought Jimmy, kindly loaned him to Lauren for the day, resulting in a score of 81% which won her the Para Equestrian Talent Spotting Junior Championship.

We are also pleased with the results from The Willowby Regionals. My client, Helen Coleman won the Preliminary Championship and also came 4th in the Restricted Novice class.

Vanita won the Elementary with over 71% and was further placed in the Medium Music and Medium Open classes. I knew this level would be a challenge for him, and although he can easily do all the work, when he gets worried the tension makes it more difficult. He is an amazing horse but  just needs to grow in confidence.

Divine came fourth in the Medium Open, I was a little disappointed as she should have done better but on the day there were too many little hitches which let us down. However we did come away with a good Dengie goodie bag.

We are having a yard outing on Thursday, with Premliminary and Novices and my own tests of Elementary, Medium and Advanced Medium, its lucky that Field house has a good cafe as we will be there for a long time.
