Success for Tanya and Sparkles

Well the season is in full swing again and after the heatwave we had in April the ground is as hard as concrete! Since my last blog I have taken Sarkles to his first pre novice at Northallerton where he behaved very well! We did a good test, just tapped a pole in the show jumping which was unlucky and he was amazing cross country with just afew time faults!
Sparkles had his second run of the year last weekend at Richmond where he finished in his dressage score and won his section! (not bad for a 5yr olds second ever pre novice!) hopefully he hasn't peaked too soon as he is off to Bramham to do the BYEH class! I also had, Dan at Richmond- he is a new ride I have got for afew months while his owner Jessica does her GCSE's. Considering I sat on him for the first time on Saturday and then went straight to Richmond on the Sunday I was pleased with his 8th place in the Pre Novice! He jumped a lovely double clear and now just needs a little work on the flat so that he is ready for Jess to do her first Novice when her exams have finished!

Bucky is back in work and i must say it's lovely to be back on him! Bucky is such a sweet horse and he will hopefully be ready to do the 4yr old qualifiers later in the year!

Fresh from his trip to the national Dressage championships, Bob has already qualified for the regionals at novice level and just needs a couple more points to get his elementary qualification! He is coping ok on grass now after all his problems with feed over the winter..and he is still having his Alfa-A Molasses Free and Alfa-Beet to give him a little more energy and all the nutrients he needs!
All the horses are living out now, so have grass rather than haylage in their diets- however they are still all fed their Dengie Alfa-A Oil, Alfa-Beet and the Fibremix Compliment! They all look in fabulous condition and are feeling really well ....I'm now just waiting for some rain to soften the ground so I can think about eventing them again!
