Success for Team Jackson at Blenheim International Horse Trials

What an amazing weekend at the Fidelity Blenheim International Horse Trials for Team Jackson - Jagganath's (Jack) dressage score of 52.7 was a very pleasing start, especially as he's been short of outings this season, but it was his jumping that really proved how classy he is. I felt confident going into the show jumping but you never know how a horse is going to react with the atmosphere at a big event.
Despite the windy conditions Jack stayed focused and jumped a lovely clear pulling us up 6th places. The cross country was big and imposing but we completed with just 2.8 time penalties to finish 6th at our first CIC*** star. 

I also won the highest placed Blenheim debutant and best local rider in the CIC section. A big thank you to Jack's owners - Carole and John Mortimer and all my supporters (sponsors, grooms and family!) without whom it simply wouldn't happen.
