We started this season with a win at Brighton horse driving trials, then two days off and straight to Royal Windsor Horse Show, this being the first appearance at this show with the team. Very Exciting!!
Mally thought the trot up was very exciting and couldn't believe his eyes at his first major show. Unfortunately this wasn't going to be our show as Rolo suffered severe mud fever after the marathon phase from a going through the water obstacle. This meant we couldn't finish this event and missed the final cones phase on the Sunday. Very disappointing for all involved as was going well.
3 weeks off and all the mud fever had cleared up and we set off the Farleigh HDT in Basingstoke. A really good marathon phase put us in the lead and then a good cones meant we had our second win of the season.
End of June we headed to Sandringham CIA-B, it wasn't our weekend and we finished 6th.
July 10-12th we went to Catton hall and finished 2nd, missing out on 1st by 0.5 penalties.
