The Blue Cross Charlie and Thunder Looking Good on Dengie
8th August 2011
Charlie and Thunder were found by members of the public in a bad condition and were signed over to The Blue Cross for veterinary care and attention.
Both had to be clipped and treated for severe lice infestation, were underweight and lacking condition not helped by a significantly high worm count.
They’ve now been at the Burford Centre adoption centre for three months and since their arrival their condition has improved dramatically. They started on a small amount of Dengie Alfa-A and then staff introduced Alfa-Beet into the ration. Now that they are looking fit and well the staff have gradually switched their diets to Dengie Good Do-er to maintain their condition, ensuring they’re still getting all the essential vitamins and minerals they require while they continue to improve.
