Luca jumped his first Foxhunter Regional Final; the course was set to maximum height of 1.30m in the first round with difficult lines that included short then long distances with an open water jump. Luca jumped well, due to a sore back at the beginning of the year he has limited outings at this height this year. We had four faults in a combination towards the end of the course. I was not too disappointed as I have three more chances in this class and the height did not seem to faze him. Luca’s next show will be East of England where he will jump in 1.25m and 1.30m classes.
Whinny jumped a super double clear in a BSJA Scope Qualifier and came 7th out of a huge field of entries. I was delighted with her as it was the first time I have taken some of the tighter turns in the jump off. Her next show is Lordsbridge where she will jump in the Discovery Regional Final.
Dino This was Dino's first show with me. He jumped in the 1.05m class and had one fence down. I was a bit disappointed to have had 4 faults but he jumped with confidence over all the scary fillers and over the water so it was a successful outing for him. His next show will be East of England where he will jump in the 5 year old class alongside Whinny.
