Winter has arrived

Well Winter is definitely here, the ponies have been ticking over since the nationals but then we had lots of snow!!!!!! so that soon put a stop to it, but I hope to keep them in gentle work before the workload ups in Februrary.
I've been driving one of my clients ponies on the Indoor circuit ,a 5year old 'Texas' owned by Mrs Pip Holgate, we started as just a bit of fun and good experience for him, but he has taken to it like a duck to water and we've had great success plus Texas thinks it great fun!!!! So I am hoping to qualify him for the Indoor Championships at the beginning of April .

November 6th - Royal Leisure - 3rd
November 28th - Beauport - 1st
December 11th - Duckhurst - 2nd

Texas is fed Dengie Alfa-A Molasses Free and and a small amount of oats, the Alfa-A Molasses Free is great for him as he doesn't need the extra molasses, but he still gets the slow release energy from the Alfa-A which really suits him.

I will keep you posted if we make it to the Championships, fingers crossed

Keep Warm
