Testimonial: Isla Johnson Wells

Burghley 2001Isla is a professional event rider and has evented for many years with great success. In 2000 Isla won the title of Young Rider National Champion at Bramham Three Star International Horse Trials. In the same year Isla was also selected for the British Young Rider Team and competed in the Young Rider European Championships at Hartpury, winning team bronze. Since then Isla has competed at Badminton and Burghley and was best placed first time rider at Burghley in 2001. Isla continues to compete at all levels within British Eventing and spends a lot of time teaching and training young horses. Isla has a particular skill and interest in rehabilitating horses that have been injured and is in the process of setting up a rehabilitation and therapy centre.

Isla has fed Dengie for the last 12 years to all of her horses and has found that an alfalfa diet produces good muscle tone and top line with a calm and consistent attitude. "I find that a lot of the people I teach are over-feeding cereal based feeds to horses and ponies that don't really need it. I currently use Dengie Alfa-A Oil and it provides enough energy for three day events and so I have complete confidence in recommending Dengie to all of my customers."
