Remember Me
After what can only be described as a very slow start to the year after shattering my finger, it's become a very successful season for us.
I had an incredible time on the Ambition Programme in Rio. I feel so honoured and privileged to have been given the chance to go to Rio and watch the Olympics in that capacity.
It's been incredibly busy of late, I felt like we haven't stopped! Mum and I started the month with a trip to Canada as I was taking part in the West Coast Dressage Convention in Vancouver, organised by SH Productions.
With the summer season really being in full flow we have been very busy. We started with another trip to Cholderton with Finn (Headmore Diffinity) and Davina (Headmore Davina).
Well, to be honest I don't really know where to start this month, it's just been incredible from start to finish!
My February started a little differently, as we celebrated a big birthday for my mum. We surprised her with a trip to Tromsø in Norway to search for the Northern Lights.
After the new year celebrations were over and the realisation that we are in an Olympic year had sunk in, it was all systems go preparing the horses for the forthcoming season.
December is always a busy and exciting month, and this time it was no exception! It started with a National Lottery-funded UK Sport World Class Podium Potential training session.
As we are going into the winter we are doing less competing. I just had to complete my final winter qualification with Tank (Headmore Wimoweh) in the advanced medium freestyle to music.
To finish off an unusually hectic October I accompanied Charlotte Dujardin to India to see the work that the charity, The Brooke have been doing out there as Charlotte is now an ambassador for them.
Things normally quieten down a bit in October as the summer season is completed, but that wasn't the case this year. We started off with a World Class squad training session at the Unicorn trust.
The arrival of September always signifies the end of the season for me as it culminates with our National Championships and this year I was hoping for a good result with Socs in the PSG.
